Stavanger's port district — Stavangerregionen Havn, covering Stavanger, Sola and Randaberg — does most of its bunkering at the region's main terminal in Risavika rather than at the city quays. The port authority lists the Risavika offshore terminal as over 360 m of quay across three berths at about 10 m depth, described as an offshore base with bunkering; the separate Risavika ferry terminal (158.5 m plus a 37 m dolphin, about 14 m depth) is where LNG bunkering is offered.
Conventional marine fuel is delivered ex-barge by coastal suppliers such as Bunker Oil, which runs its own fleet of bunkering vessels and, through its Kystbunker arm, delivers fuel and Mobil lubricants along the coast. Stavanger lies inside the North Sea ECA, so grades supplied are the low-sulphur specification and EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime apply. The much-publicised green-ammonia hub planned at Risavika is a future project, not a stem you can take today.
