Corfu bunker prices
GRCFU · GR · Emission Control Area · EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime apply
Arithmetic on the 6 nearest ports where a price was observed, weighted by distance. Nobody has quoted this at Corfu, and it carries nothing about the barge, the volume or your credit — which is what actually sets the number.
Why there is no assessment here yet
Only 0 observations in the last 72 hours. We publish an assessment from 3 or more.
No price is published for this port yet. Our assessment is built only from what we observe here — prices suppliers submit to us, quotes received against requests raised here, and stems that close — so it appears once this port has traffic. A request raised now still reaches suppliers; it does not wait for an index.
Our own assessment, computed from observations made on this platform: prices submitted by suppliers, quotes received against requests raised here, and stems that closed. Weighted by how firm each observation is (a closed stem counts three times a list price), by how recent it is, and by parcel size. Values more than 15% from the median are excluded. No third-party assessment is used as an input, and no number is published from fewer than three observations or fewer than two independent sources.

Taking fuel at Corfu
Operational notes, from the port authority and the suppliers’ own published documents. Checked 2026-08-31.
Corfu's port authority (OLKE) manages the port of Corfu together with Paxos, Othonoi and Ereikoussa. For the main port, MedCruise lists seven quays totalling 2,240 m with 8-11 m depth alongside, accepting vessels up to about 770 m LOA and 11 m draught, with anchorage and tugs available. It is worth knowing what is not published: neither OLKE's material nor the port's facility listing sets out any bunkering rule, nominated bunker berth or maximum stem, so fuelling is arranged privately through local suppliers and agents — one Greek bunker supplier states only that prior notice is required to process a Corfu stem. The grade slate and delivery method (road tanker at the quay versus barge) are not given in the sources read and must be confirmed with the supplier. Regulation is the firm part: Corfu lies inside the Mediterranean Sea SOx Emission Control Area, in force since 1 May 2025, which caps fuel sulphur at 0.10%.
- OLKE publishes no bunkering rule, nominated bunker berth, or maximum stem size for Corfu.
- The delivery method (barge versus road tanker) and the available grades for Corfu are not stated in the sources read.
- Whether bunkering is allowed at the cruise and ferry quays during passenger or cargo operations is not published in the sources read.
Ask the supplier to confirm these before you fix a stem on them.
The working behind the estimate above.
Those are prices at those ports, not at Corfu, and the distances are great-circle rather than routed. The estimate above is arithmetic on them — it carries no information about the barge, the volume or your credit, which is what actually sets the number. A request is the only way to get a real one.
Indicative only. Typical stem time here is about 8 hours alongside.

Not an offer to sell — a firm price exists only once a supplier has quoted.
A lower headline price at another port is not automatically a saving. Deviation burns fuel and charter hire, and a bunker-only call costs port time.
Corfu bunkering FAQ
- What is the bunker price at Corfu today?
- No price is published at Corfu. The closest port where one is, is Piraeus, about 201 nautical miles away — VLSFO at $818 a tonne.
- Is Corfu a cheap bunkering port?
- Whether a port is cheap for your vessel depends on the deviation cost, not just the headline price — reaching a cheaper port costs charter hire and fuel.
- Does EU ETS apply at Corfu?
- Corfu is in the EU/EEA, so voyages to, from and within it fall under the EU Emissions Trading System, and FuelEU Maritime applies to ships of 5,000 GT and above. That adds a real per-tonne cost that a headline bunker price does not show.
