Toamasina (Tamatave) is Madagascar's main commercial port, on the east coast. Treat it as a road-tanker bunkering port, not a barge hub: findaport's port entry lists fuel simply as "available by road tanker," so plan on truck-to-ship delivery at the berth rather than a barge at anchorage. Expect the slower pump rates and smaller practical stems that come with trucks, and build the tanker's turnaround into your schedule.
Depth is rarely the constraint here. The oil terminal carries 12.5-13.7 m alongside and the general anchorage runs roughly 14-15.2 m. The port takes ships up to about 40,000 dwt, with an extension berth designed for 60,000 dwt and a 16 m draught alongside. What will actually govern you is berth availability and truck logistics, so fix grade and quantity with your supplier in advance, because the published port pages state neither.
