Petrobras is Brazil's state-owned oil company and the country's main physical bunker supplier, producing marine fuel in its own refineries and delivering by barge or pipeline at 11 bunkering terminals in major Brazilian ports, including Belém, Rio de Janeiro, Santos, Paranaguá, Rio Grande and Suape. It holds over 80% of the Brazilian marine fuel market, supplying products such as VLSFO 0.5%S, VLS B24 (24% renewable content), MGO and LSMGO that comply with IMO 2020, ISO 8217 and ANP Resolution 903/2022. In 2025 it delivered about 4.4 million tonnes via more than 6,000 deliveries to 197 active clients.
