Zadar bunker prices
HRZAD · HR · Emission Control Area · EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime apply
Arithmetic on the 6 nearest ports where a price was observed, weighted by distance. Nobody has quoted this at Zadar, and it carries nothing about the barge, the volume or your credit — which is what actually sets the number.
Why there is no assessment here yet
Only 0 observations in the last 72 hours. We publish an assessment from 3 or more.
No price is published for this port yet. Our assessment is built only from what we observe here — prices suppliers submit to us, quotes received against requests raised here, and stems that close — so it appears once this port has traffic. A request raised now still reaches suppliers; it does not wait for an index.
Our own assessment, computed from observations made on this platform: prices submitted by suppliers, quotes received against requests raised here, and stems that closed. Weighted by how firm each observation is (a closed stem counts three times a list price), by how recent it is, and by parcel size. Values more than 15% from the median are excluded. No third-party assessment is used as an input, and no number is published from fewer than three observations or fewer than two independent sources.

Taking fuel at Zadar

Bunkers at Zadar are supplied by Tankerkomerc (liquid cargo terminal, Gaženica) and Nauta Alba d.o.o. Delivery is typically by pipeline at the Gaženica liquid cargo terminal (60 m quay, 10.3–12 m depth, vessels up to 40,000 DWT, 16 pipelines, foam firefighting; reference cargoes diesel and gasoline) or by barge/truck per supplier arrangement; Nauta Alba's terms state that if delivered by barge the buyer must provide a safe berth, connections, and pay barging/mooring/overtime charges. Buyers must give written notice of vessel ETA and berth/anchorage place during working hours; notices after 18:00 count as received 09:00 next working day. Pilotage is compulsory for vessels over 500 GT (VHF 12/16); coastal pilotage is compulsory for tankers with dangerous liquid chemicals/gas, boarding near Grujica lighthouse, with 24-hour then 12-hour corrected ETA to the Harbor Master. Zadar is in a Mediterranean ECA (0.50% sulphur limit) and EU ETS applies to voyages calling here. S/NW winds can affect navigation entering the Gaženica basin; tide is diurnal up to 0.65 m.

The working behind the estimate above.
Those are prices at those ports, not at Zadar, and the distances are great-circle rather than routed. The estimate above is arithmetic on them — it carries no information about the barge, the volume or your credit, which is what actually sets the number. A request is the only way to get a real one.
Indicative only. Typical stem time here is about 8 hours alongside.

Not an offer to sell — a firm price exists only once a supplier has quoted.
A lower headline price at another port is not automatically a saving. Deviation burns fuel and charter hire, and a bunker-only call costs port time.
Zadar bunkering FAQ
- What is the bunker price at Zadar today?
- No price is published at Zadar. The closest port where one is, is Livorno, about 216 nautical miles away — VLSFO at $549 a tonne.
- Is Zadar a cheap bunkering port?
- Whether a port is cheap for your vessel depends on the deviation cost, not just the headline price — reaching a cheaper port costs charter hire and fuel.
- Does EU ETS apply at Zadar?
- Zadar is in the EU/EEA, so voyages to, from and within it fall under the EU Emissions Trading System, and FuelEU Maritime applies to ships of 5,000 GT and above. That adds a real per-tonne cost that a headline bunker price does not show.
