Bunkers at Tallinn/Muuga are delivered by barge, typically at designated anchorage roadsteads rather than at the berth. Per supplier calling instructions, gasoil 0.1% S is delivered at anchorage areas H (59°31.0'N, 24°32.0'E), G (59°29.0'N, 24°32.0'E), or Muuga Roads area I (59°35.0'N, 24°49.0'E); the barge captain instructs which position applies depending on barge schedule. ETA notices are required 48, 24, 12 and 6 hours before arrival, with any changes advised daily. Two hours before arrival the vessel must contact Tallinn VTS (duty channel 13) with name/call sign or IMO number, length, beam, draft, purpose of call and previous port; VTS then assigns the exact anchoring position and directs the vessel. No pilot or port clearance is needed for road bunkering. Delivery is subject to weather conditions.
