Bunkering at Fredericia (DK) is supplied commercially by companies including Q8 Danmark A/S (and Dan-Bunkering is listed locally), but note that the Shell Terminal states that bunkers are no longer available at the terminal itself. Delivery methods available in the port area include truck, ex-pipe and bunker barge, with Q8 offering fast, flexible delivery to the quay. Bunkering can take place alongside at berth or at anchorage; vessels at anchorage should use only the designated areas FA1 and FA2 north/northeast of the port (the area south of Strib Lighthouse only with prior ADP approval). Cargo/loading operations are subject to weather limits: operations stop at 22 m/s wind and 5 knots current, so bunker deliveries may be similarly affected in adverse conditions. Pilots can advise on local arrangements. Fredericia lies within the North Sea/Baltic Emission Control Area, so only fuel with max 0.1% sulphur (e.g. LSMGO/MGO) may be used, per MARPOL Annex VI; EU ETS fuel reporting obligations apply to calls here.
