Fuel grades available include VLSFO (max 0.50% S), LSMGO (max 0.10% S), HSFO for scrubber-fitted vessels, and MGO for smaller vessels, with limited biofuel options. Suppliers include Mediterranean Fuels, which delivers via bunker barge, pipeline, or tank truck, offering in-port, offshore, and at-sea bunkering with high-seas fuel tankers, plus 24/7 inquiries. Bunkering takes place at the port's terminals and at a designated Bunker Anchorage; anchorage allocation is made by the ANP (Agence Nationale des Ports) through your agent. Major local suppliers also include Vivo Energy Morocco, Petrom, and Total Maroc, though supplier competition is limited, keeping prices above Algeciras (typically EUR 25-50/mt more for VLSFO) but below European Mediterranean ports.
