At Jeddah bunkers come to you by barge, not down a shore pipe. The fuel is loaded from Minerva's bunker tankers, which run their deliveries through an Advanced Delivery Platform using Coriolis mass-flow meters, and sales to international vessels are duty-free (Minerva). Since September 2025 those barges load from a 113,000 cubic-metre floating storage unit that Minerva Saudi Arabia and the port authority Mawani moored at the port; it stores VLSFO, HSFO and MGO and is registered as a bonded customs zone, which is what lets fuel move duty-free under customs oversight (Port News/Mawani). The unit exists specifically to speed up barge loading for vessels transiting the Red Sea, so a large stem is what the operation is built for.
Jeddah sits on the Red Sea, outside any Emission Control Area, so 0.50% sulphur VLSFO is the compliant grade unless you are running a scrubber (Gulf Bunkering). What the port authority does not publish is a maximum stem, a firm notice period, or whether you take fuel at a berth or at a named anchorage. Treat those as questions for the supplier.
