Suez (Port Tawfiq and Port Ibrahim) sits at the southern entrance of the Suez Canal, on the northern tip of the Gulf of Suez, and is essentially a stem-only stop tied to canal transits. Most vessels bunker while waiting for transit at the canal's south anchorage; Dan-Bunkering lists delivery here as available at berth, at anchorage or offshore, and physical supply is by barge.
Grades follow the canal-area pattern of HSFO up to 3.5% sulphur, VLSFO up to 0.5% and MGO up to 0.1%. The heavier grades are thin: Integr8 counts one supplier offering VLSFO at Port Suez against two for HSFO and four for LSMGO, so plan a heavy stem early and confirm the grade before committing. One routine option brokers use — a southbound vessel can bunker at Port Said outer anchorage before the transit and avoid dropping anchor at Suez afterwards, saving canal-side time and charges.
