Bunkers at Dahej are delivered by barge from the Gujarat bunker network; truck-to-ship and pipeline delivery are also arranged, and LNG ship-to-ship or shore-to-ship transfer via the Petronet LNG terminal is technically feasible but case-by-case, not a standard commercial service — coordinate directly with the terminal operator and plan weeks in advance. Grades available: VLSFO, LSMGO and MGO; HSFO subject to enquiry. Dahej is not in an ECA, so VLSFO (0.50% S) suffices for sea passages; LSMGO/MGO serve ECA compliance and auxiliary needs. Vessels staying alongside after cargo completion to receive bunkers avoid layup berth hire, provided no vessel is waiting for the berth, no maintenance is planned, and the request is made at least 3 hours before cargo completion; the vessel gets pilot only after planned movements. Bunker handling charges apply (USD 1.40/KL, minimum USD 175). Anchorage charges apply hourly within port limits; drifting is generally not permitted. Bunker Delivery Notes are MARPOL Annex VI compliant; GST is 5%. Advance planning is advised, and most callers are tanker-class vessels confirming exact grades at nomination.
