Point Lisas bunker prices
TTPTS · TT · Major bunkering hub
Arithmetic on the 6 nearest ports where a price was observed, weighted by distance. Nobody has quoted this at Point Lisas, and it carries nothing about the barge, the volume or your credit — which is what actually sets the number.
Why there is no assessment here yet
Only 0 observations in the last 72 hours. We publish an assessment from 3 or more.
No price is published for this port yet. Our assessment is built only from what we observe here — prices suppliers submit to us, quotes received against requests raised here, and stems that close — so it appears once this port has traffic. A request raised now still reaches suppliers; it does not wait for an index.
Our own assessment, computed from observations made on this platform: prices submitted by suppliers, quotes received against requests raised here, and stems that closed. Weighted by how firm each observation is (a closed stem counts three times a list price), by how recent it is, and by parcel size. Values more than 15% from the median are excluded. No third-party assessment is used as an input, and no number is published from fewer than three observations or fewer than two independent sources.

Taking fuel at Point Lisas
Operational notes, from the port authority and the suppliers’ own published documents. Checked 2026-09-02.
At Point Lisas, bunkers are supplied by Ventrin Petroleum and NP Bunkering (NPMC). Ventrin owns and operates a pipeline network at Savonetta Piers 1 and 2, ArcelorMittal, and PLIPDECO's Berth 1A, delivering Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil (VLSFO) and Low Sulphur Gas Oil (LSGO) to vessels at PLIPDECO Berth 1A via pipeline; LSGO can also be delivered by road tank wagon at PLIPDECO Berths #1-5. Its two SIRE-approved bunker barges, Tradewind Legend and Panda PG, can deliver at anchorage or at berth. Ventrin posts daily prices around 10:00 local time, valid until 10:00 the next day (Friday prices held over the weekend), with sales contracts on BIMCO (2001) terms. NP delivers ex-wharf and ex-vessel at all authorised Trinidad and Tobago ports, including Point Lisas, using road tank wagons and sea transport. Point Lisas is not an ECA, so standard IMO global sulphur limits apply rather than 0.10% ECA fuel requirements.

The working behind the estimate above.
Those are prices at those ports, not at Point Lisas, and the distances are great-circle rather than routed. The estimate above is arithmetic on them — it carries no information about the barge, the volume or your credit, which is what actually sets the number. A request is the only way to get a real one.
Indicative only. Typical stem time here is about 8 hours alongside.

Not an offer to sell — a firm price exists only once a supplier has quoted.
A lower headline price at another port is not automatically a saving. Deviation burns fuel and charter hire, and a bunker-only call costs port time.
