Santa Cruz de Tenerife supplies bunkers around the clock — the port authority describes fuel supply 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with close to half a million tonnes lifted annually. The full slate of grades is on offer: MGO, VLSFO, HSFO, IFOs, gasoils and LNG, to ISO 8217 quality.
You can bunker alongside at a berth or at anchor. Anchored ships are supplied by barge, and the authority names two: Cap Mejean at 3,500 tonnes and Anafi at 4,584 tonnes. The anchorage is well sheltered — the Anaga massif blocks the prevailing northeast winds — and the authority claims about 98% operability, with depths of roughly 30–40 m for standard vessels and 80–90 m for large ones. That shelter is the port's edge over an open roadstead. Note the two figures are the barges' own tonnage, not a cap on your stem, so confirm the maximum single delivery with the supplier.
