Khor Fakkan is a container port and an exclave of the Emirate of Sharjah on the UAE's east coast, facing the Gulf of Oman and geographically ringed by the Emirate of Fujairah — so it is reached without transiting the Strait of Hormuz, close to the Fujairah bunker roads.
Bunkers here are taken at anchor rather than alongside: physical suppliers deliver to ships lying in the Khor Fakkan anchorage, working under a local Sharjah supply licence — Fast Bunkering, for instance, began anchorage supply in 2023 through its licensed local partner East Wind FZE. Keep Khor Fakkan and Fujairah distinct when you fix a stem; they are separate anchorages under separate authorities. Because the Sharjah Ports Authority's own port rules were not reachable, confirm the exact anchorage, permitted grades, barge and any advance-notice requirements directly with your supplier and agent.
