Maputo takes bunkers by barge, and CPG Bunkering holds the concession. Under the exclusive agreement the port announced in 2022, fuel is delivered ship-to-ship, either at anchorage or alongside at a berth within the Maputo Port jurisdiction, on a 24-hour basis; the port's announcement names the chartered barge Monjasa Performer and lists two grades — VLSFO and low-sulphur marine gasoil (LSMGO) — to ISO 8217 and MARPOL. CPG's own account adds that its barges carry multiple segregations so all major grades can be worked, and that a stem may be taken at berth while you work cargo, or at safe anchorage in the vicinity of Buoy 6, an anchorage it describes as well protected from oceanic swell.
That is the practical shape of it: you can bunker without breaking your cargo call, or run out to the Buoy 6 anchorage. Neither the port nor the supplier publishes a maximum stem size or a firm nomination lead time, so settle both with CPG when you fix.
