Honolulu is the principal container gateway for the Hawaiian islands, and the harbour also handles dry and liquid bulk, breakbulk, passenger and fishing vessels. Bunkering here reads as a shore-fed operation rather than a barge market. The physical supplier we can document, Clipper Oil, moves product by pipeline and by road tanker, which ties your stem to a berth and to truck access rather than to a barge coming alongside.
On grades, Clipper lists marine gas oil, ultra low sulphur diesel, a B20 biodiesel and Jet A-1. Brokers describe the wider area as also carrying VLSFO and high sulphur fuel oil, so if you need residual fuel confirm both the grade and the delivery method with the supplier before you fix. Nothing we read published a maximum stem or a fixed notice period, so treat both as supplier-set and ask early, particularly if you want fuel while working cargo on a tight berth window.
