Taking fuel at Pointe-Noire

Operational notes, from the port authority and the suppliers’ own published documents. Checked 2026-09-02.

Bunkers at Pointe-Noire (port code CGPNR) are available alongside or at anchorage: the port authority/APM Terminals confirm refuelling by oil pipeline or tanker trucks alongside, and offshore delivery by tugs, with bunkering services listed as available. TotalEnergies Marine Fuels (Lubmarine) supplies this port (Premium), including marine cylinder oils such as TALUSIA LS 40 and trunk piston oils such as AURELIA TI 4020; some grades are subject to inquiry for stock and delivery dates. Lubmarine requires 3 working days' notice for packaged products; working days are Monday–Friday, 07:00–15:00, and customs formalities must be completed before delivery (customs closes at 14:00). Deliveries outside working hours, below minimum notice, or requiring extra equipment/manpower incur extra charges, as do delays of two hours or more caused by the vessel's crew. Pilotage and towage are compulsory: pilotage for vessels of 100 GT or more, one tug for vessels over 130 m LOA and two tugs over 160 m. Pointe-Noire is not an ECA, so standard (non-ECA) fuel sulphur rules apply; confirm applicable IMO 2020 compliant fuel grades with the supplier.

That is Durban's price, not this port's, and the distance is a great-circle estimate rather than a routed passage. It is here because a benchmark you can see the distance to is more use than a blank space.
