Refinaria da Amazônia (REAM) is a physical fuel supplier — an Amazon-based refinery of Grupo Atem that manages the Refinaria Isaac Sabbá on the Rio Negro in Manaus, refining and selling petroleum derivatives (46,000 barrels/day capacity) and operating pipeline transport. The refinery began operating on 6 September 1956 as Companhia de Petróleo da Amazônia (Copam). REAM supplies marine fuels (MGO, IFO and LSMGO) to vessels, including at the Vila do Conde anchorage in Pará in partnership with sister shipping company Navemazônia.
