Placid Refining Company LLC is an independent, privately held petroleum refining company (a fuel producer/supplier rather than a pure bunker trader) operating a single 75,000 barrel-per-day refinery in Port Allen, Louisiana, directly across the Mississippi River from Baton Rouge. It produces conventional and ethanol-blended gasoline, ultra-low sulfur diesel and Jet-A aviation fuel, distributed across the southeastern US from Texas to Maryland. It has been a Louisiana-licensed bonded terminal operator and bonded motor fuel supplier since 07/01/2006.
