Mercuria Energy America, LLC is the North American arm of Mercuria, one of the world's leading independent energy and commodity groups, engaged in physical and financial trading, logistics and investments across crude, refined products, natural gas, electricity, environmental products and ethanol. Its marine fuel supply business operates through Minerva Bunkering, Mercuria's world-leading independent bunker supplier, which has extensive operations on the US Gulf, East and West coasts as well as Panama, the Caribbean and Vancouver — consistent with its listing as a supplier in New Orleans. The US business expanded through Mercuria's 2014 acquisition of J.P. Morgan's physical commodities business and its 2017 acquisition of Noble's North America gas & power business, operating from offices in Houston, Greenwich, Calgary, Denver and Los Angeles.
