Fuels Marketing & Supply Aruba N.V. (FMSA) is a physical fuel supplier, not a trader or broker: it is the sole importer and distributor of fuel oil, gasoline, ultra-low sulfur diesel and jet fuel in Aruba, wholly owned by state-owned Refineria di Aruba N.V. since 1 October 2016 (having been renamed from Valero Marketing and Supply Aruba N.V.). Through its marine activities it supplies diesel bunker fuel to leisure and seagoing vessels at the ports of Oranjestad, Barcadera and San Nicolas, and it also supplies fuel oil to the local utility WEB Aruba N.V. It secures product via non-exclusive agreements with CITGO Petroleum Corporation and Novum Energy Trading Corporation, and holds a terminal service agreement with CITGO Aruba covering 1.5 million barrels of storage capacity.
