Fuel Supplies Maldives (FSM) is a physical fuel supplier — the national fuel distribution company of the Maldives, established on 18 December 2000 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of State Trading Organisation (STO). Headquartered in Malé, it delivers fuel by sea across the island archipelago with a fleet that has grown from about 4 small barges in 2000 to 18 barges plus 4 other vessels, serving markets such as resorts and island power supplies. In 2019 it recorded MVR 59 million in profit, and STO transferred the 8.5-million-litre capacity vessel Mt. Alihuras to FSM on its 20th anniversary.
