Buckeye Global Marine Terminals is the marine-terminals business unit of Buckeye Partners L.P., a physical storage and transshipment operator for crude oil, refined petroleum products and LPG (not a broker or trader). At Port Cul-de-Sac near Castries, Saint Lucia, it runs the Buckeye St Lucia terminal (acquired from Hess) with roughly 9.3 million barrels of crude and about 1 million barrels of refined-products storage, supplying the island's distributors SOL and RUBIS and the utility LUCELEC. The open-roadstead terminal can berth tankers up to 443,000 tonnes displacement (LOA 396 m, draft 25.0 m) and is registered as oil/chemical tanker terminal facility LCCDS-0001.
