Ankora Fuels is an independent physical bunker supplier of low-sulfur marine distillate fuels (MGO and ULSMGO) delivered by barge and truck, launched in June 2024 on the US East Coast. It initially serves the Port of New York and New Jersey with an exclusively time-chartered barge able to pump up to 300 mt/hour, and also supplies by truck at accessible berths in Philadelphia and other locations along the Delaware River. The company is based in Deal, New Jersey, and was co-founded by John Barbarise III, a bunker industry veteran with over 11 years of East Coast bunker desk experience.
