Petro Marine Services is the marine operations arm of Petro 49, Inc., a physical petroleum supplier and Alaska's largest independent fuel marketing and distribution company, founded in Seward in 1936 as Andy's Oil Delivery. It supplies fuel via chartered barges ('floating fuel terminals') and company terminals to marine, mining, utility, and other customers across Southeast and Southcentral Alaska, Kodiak Island, the Alaska Peninsula, and the Yukon Territory. Its terminals are located in ports including Craig, Homer, Juneau, Ketchikan, Kodiak, Petersburg, Sitka, Skagway, Soldotna, Whitehorse, and Wrangell, with administrative offices in Anchorage and Seward.
