Axpo is a Swiss energy producer and trader (Switzerland's largest energy producer) that acts as a physical LNG/bio-LNG bunker supplier, delivering fuel ship-to-ship via chartered small-scale LNG vessels such as the Avenir Aspiration. It supplies at Spanish ports including Algeciras, Málaga, Valencia and Barcelona, plus Sines in Portugal, and in August 2025 completed Spain's first ship-to-ship bio-LNG bunkering for large container ships at Algeciras, delivering over 4,000 m³ of ISCC-certified Bio-LNG to the CMA CGM Fort Bourbon.
